KWBQ BRAND MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

New Mexico’s CW (KWBQ-TV) in Albuquerque, NM, is looking for a Brand Manager.

Overview

KWBQ is New Mexico’s home to the world’s best sitcoms (Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Seinfeld) and CW network hit shows (The Flash, Superman and Lois, Riverdale). 

The New Mexico’s CW Brand Manager is responsible for developing and leading the overall marketing strategy of the station, and for designing the promotions that will achieve the objectives of that strategy.  Duties will include overseeing events, contests, promotions, public service and community events, and sales client-partner events.  Other assignments may be required, and other duties may occasionally be assigned by the station.  Reports to the Creative Services Director.

  • Able to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Highly communicative via chat/written communication in real-time
  • Tolerance to critical feedback from clients
  • Minimum 1-2 years on-air experience, or college degree preferred

Expectations

  • Plans, executes, and tracks revenue-generating marketing and promotional events and contests that take place on-air, online, and on-site
  • Software skills required: Adobe Creative Suite production package including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop

      • Knowledge of high-definition (HD) cameras and videography, motion graphics and proper lighting techniques

    • Cooperate and participate in brand building on social media
    • Ability to deliver on multiple platforms including LIVE streaming, social videos, TV interviews, in-person TV (rare), etc.
