Today Mission Broadcasting, Inc. promoted Sharon K. Moser to the position of Vice President and Corporate Controller for its group of commercial television stations. In this role, she will continue to oversee all of the accounting functions for Mission’s stations in eighteen U.S. markets.
Ms. Moser joined Mission in August 2015; her rich background covers nearly thirty-years of accounting experience. Her broadcast accounting experience also includes twelve years at the station level and ten years in corporate accounting for the Irving, TX based, Nexstar Broadcast Group, Inc. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX.
Commenting on the promotion, Dennis Thatcher stated, “Sharon has demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism in her four years with our company. Mission has benefited greatly from her wealth of industry experience. This promotion is an acknowledgement of all that she does each day.
