Lance B. Carwile Named Vice President of Mission Broadcasting, Inc.

Mission Broadcasting, Inc. today promoted Lance B. Carwile to the position of Vice President and Corporate Program Director for its group of commercial television stations.  In this role, he will continue to oversee all of the programming functions for Mission’s stations in eighteen U.S. markets.

Mr. Carwile joined Mission in August of 2017; his rich television background covers over thirty-five years of experience, including twenty years as a station Program Director.   In addition, Lance was a Group Program Coordinator and Regional Program Director for LIN Media, Media General and Nexstar Broadcasting.  He earned his Bachelor Degree in Film/Television from The Ohio State University.

Commenting on the promotion, Dennis Thatcher stated, “In the last two years, Lance has brought an exceptional level of organization and professionalism to this position.  His industry reputation, creativity and broad programming knowledge have given Mission a decided competitive edge.  This promotion is an acknowledgement of his valuable, on-going contribution to our group.”
